  • March 24, 2015 - Joerger Ranch

    Preserved 23 acres of open space in perpetuity along Highway 267 at the future development site of PC-3.
  • September 13, 2014 - Planned Community – 1

    Negotiated a 1% real-estate tax transfer fee, restoration of Coldstream Canyon watershed, reduction of housing units and commercial square footage for the future Coldstream housing project.
  • January 15, 2014 - Aquatic Invasive Species Ordinance

    Advocated for AIS ordinance, mandating boat inspections for Donner Lake. Town of Truckee passed the ordinance in January 2014.
  • November 29, 2013 - Truckee Single-Use Bag Ban Ordinance

    MAP worked with the Town of Truckee and other stakeholders to pass the "Single-Use Bag Reduction Ordinance" in 2013. Truckee implemented the new ordinance throughout town on June 1st, 2014.

  • May 17, 2011 - Preserved McGlashan Springs

    Preserved McGlashan Springs, old growth cedar groves and historic charcoal kilns on 160 acres, by persuading Truckee Donner PUD to place a conservation easement on the land prior to selling.
  • May 17, 2010 - Connecting the Landscape: Martis Valley to Mount Rose

    Working to preserve 6,700 acres that would connect Mount Rose Wilderness to Martis Valley, for open space, recreation, & wildlife protection.

    Applied a transfer fee for new development in Martis Valley to fund open space, habitat restoration, and  future workforce housing.

    Successfully litigated the Martis Valley Community Plan and saved Martis Valley from massive development.
