Please note online Ticket Sales will close at 11 am on Saturday October 10th. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at the Box Office in the  Community Arts Center (10046 Church Street), which is located at the front entrance. The box office will open at 2pm, matinee screening at 3pm and evening screening at 6pm.

Join Mountain Area Preservation for the 2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival On Tour in Historic Downtown Truckee! Saturday October 10th at the Community Art Center, 10046 Church Street. MAP will host two sessions of environmental films with themes including Adventure with a Purpose, Special Places, Water, Fish, Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking and more!!

Matinee film screening will start at 3pm, box office opens at 2pm and evening film screening will start at 6pm.

Saturday’s film screenings will feature 11 award winning films! 


This years Wild & Scenic-On Tour in Truckee is sponsored by Keep Truckee Green, Truckee Donner Chambers of Commerce, Epic Vail Resorts, Cabona’s, Brand Geek, Truckee Downtown Merchants Association, Truckee Donner Public Utilities District, Copy Center, New Moon Natural Foods and 101.5 Truckee Tahoe Radio. The festival will have drinks, a raffle, music and food for sale by Tahoe Food Hub & Picnic Tahoe!

Youth/Student ticket $15, Adult ticket $25. Tickets are good for both film screenings, matinee & evening. The first 50 people to arrive on Saturday will receive a Truckee Donner PUD steel water bottle! Saturday’s festival will have a cash bar with beer & wine, popcorn and locally sourced food for sale by the Tahoe Food Hub and Picnic Catering. The Film Festival is a zero waste event, festival attendees can purchase a commomerative Klean Kanteen pint glass for $10 and receive a complimentary beer or wine, or bring your own cup and purchase a beverage!

Select Truckee Downtown Merchants will be hosting a Wild & Scenic Happy Hour Special on Saturday from 4-6pm, in-between the film sessions. We will announce the participating merchants at the festival on Friday and Saturday!

A sneak peak for a few of the Wild & Scenic Films on Saturday: Delta Dawn, Drawn, Chuitna-More Than Salmon On The Line, The Edge of Impossible with film star and High Fives Athlete Tony Schmiesing and Adventure with a Purpose: A Higher Calling staring Jeremy Jones & Greg Treinish. These are just a few to get you inspired to attend the 2nd Annual Wild & Scenic Film Fest in Truckee!
